Lövstabruks Herrgård

Premiere screening of the film Du sotige vallon by Anders Hanser

Vallonbruken was a world leader in its time and is the cradle of the Swedish iron and steel industry. The story is told by Louis de Geer, 13th generation who has grown up at Lövstabruk manor. Anders Hanser also visited 15 other Walloon farms during different seasons with his camera and his son Calle helped with beautiful drone images. In Lövstabruk's church, there is the unique Cahman organ from the 18th century. The church's organist Lukas Arvidsson has composed an atmospheric song, Snön faller, which opens the film. The poem Du sotige vallon by Olof Thunman ends.
